and by having a facility on-line for you to see the products, options and obtain a price – there is generally no need for us to send a salesman round. After all, what could he show you that isn’t on the website? You could of course always visit on on-site showroom if you have any questions.
If you opt for an installed conservatory, either completely or partially by ourselves, we will of course send a surveyor round to see you to make sure that everything is measured correctly and that we know exactly what is needed for your job.
Frames and sealed units are batched together and placed into their own individual bays, with an order fulfilment note to say that everything is together and working correctly. They are packaged together with any couplers, glass packers, cills and bay posts and of course the all important Installation Guide.
All roofs are assembled on our factory floor before being considered ready for delivery. Our factory floor manager will then sign to say that all the relevant pieces are in place and it is ready for delivery / erection. A digital photo will be taken whilst it is assembled and included in your delivery. This ensures that when your conservatory arrives on site, there will be no pieces missing which could cause a delay to your job being completed on time.
When designing the roof, we use a unique software system developed for the sole use of Ultraframe fabricators. Known as the eSDG (electronic Structual Design Guide), this system tells us how we need to engineer your roof – based on the individual postcode of your house – to comply with the new British Standard BS6399 which relate to structural integrity of conservatory roofs and how they perform under more onerous wind loadings than ever before (check out the short film on the Tech Specs page to see a demonstration)
The software will also use the site postcode to check on the Building Reasearch Establishment database to also ensure that the roof is structurally sound regarding snow loading as well.
